I just picked up a copy of a wiring diagram book from GMC covering all 1989 R/V (same as pre 88 C/K) and P series light duty trucks.

Number one, it's huge! No magnifying glass needed to see enough detail to make it useful. The downside is that the pages are much larger than my scanner /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

It covers every possible circuit from a K5 to a K30 with every possible engine and tranny combo as well as the P series delivery vans. TBI and ECM diagrams etc etc.

I will find a way to scan some of these pages...just need a bigger scanner.

Anyways, it cost me $10 at a swap meet...

Nice find! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif I wish we had more swap meets around this way. The only one I know of is held once a year and its mostly 40's and 50's stuff, so not too many trucks. Still fun to go to though!

go to MailBoxesEtc or similar and have them scan it for you

It's 70 or more pages dude...prolly cheaper to buy a bigger scanner/forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

How big is your scanner BTW? /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif The pages are 11x15...

Does it look similar to this one?

I got mine with the Blazer when I bought it. Haven't really used it much yet but it'll be nice to have when I do need it.

That's the factory electrical book that's published by www.helminc.com Awesome stuff to have! Their manual sets blow away Chilton's or Helm manuals, but they aren't cheap. /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif

That's very similar. The binding is the same, cover is a bit different. The schematic's are very good, but of course the more you know about electrical the better the schematics are.

All the sensors and stuff have PN#'s under them so I guess you can cross reference (theoretically)

Good Score! I alway's look for Factory Manual's, when at a swap meet or a yard sale. Way to go! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
