wiring gurus

i'm putting a 91 4l80e/vss205 in my 91 burb i have the factory chevy computer and the complete harness from th 91 v3500.

do i have to use the hole harness or can i split 1 side and use my harness ant the other half (tranny control, i hope)with the new computer??

my harness is prefect,so i'm hoping i can split it

I would think so...but you will have to buy the 91R/V wiring diagram book to see what one has to to do to add the 4L80E into said harness...
I have one sitting in a box as well but haven't played with it yet.
