For about the last 2 weeks my alarm has been chirping and locking and unlocking the doors erratically while the truck is on. Alarm has been in the truck for 8 months. Replaced it, still acts funny. Checked grounds, replaced ignition wire, and it still does it. We are running out of ideas. The truck runs fine, starts fine, doesn't cut out, but I have to be getting a low voltage somewhere to activate the alarm. Any ideas?

I have seen where the battery is low on charge or is weak
causing the alarm to go off for no reason.
hope this helps,

Brand new battery, running at full voltage. Checked alternator too and its fine.

When the battery was replaced the terminals may not have been tightened all the way, check that and check the body ground. The body ground can be loosened when the battery is moved. The battery could also be loose in its mounts. This can cause the terminals to make and break contact as you drive. Check all the power connections to the alarm, if they use crimp connectors remove them and solder all connections.
