wiring harness help needed

k so im attemtpin to make the wiring harness for my 84 k5....ive stripped the dash and everything. im runnin aftermarket gauges for everything except the fuel tank...any tips or pointers i should keep in mind? never done this before so any help is better than none, thanks!

I re-wired my truck from scratch.
There's alot to know, are you just doing the dash or going all out?

well all the ac/heater controls didnt work so i stripped them out. the blower motor is wired up on a toggle so it still blows heat. Was wanting to get rid of all the ac wires that went to the controls, tryin to get anything not bein used out. It has no taillights, reverse lights, or brake lights so im guessing im goin to have to rewire those....i alrdy stripped the radio wiring harness and made another one with the radio on a toggle switch...
