Anybody have any ideas or recommendations for a wiring harness? I want to do the whole truck (83 blazer.) Also I want to move the fuse box from its current location into the engine bay somewhere. I spent a lot of time fixing a bunch of little things as far as the electronics on this rig but in that time I could have a flawless and reliable set-up already if I would have went with a complete harness. I am not trying to spend a ton of money and was even considering one of the generic 12 circuit harnesses. I just want everything to work the way its supposed to. My truck is going to see a lot more pavement then dirt so comfort is going to be a priority. Any input would be appreciated:bow:

X2 on the ezwiring system. I have used painless and ezwire. They are the same, only a price difference. Putting one in my parents 34 chevy and in my 39 chevy truggy.

I have personally worked for Kwik Wire through my High School years and just recently installed one of their harnesses. The instructions are pretty strait forward and are written for multiple ignition systems. They also have harnesses and connections for TPI. I removed the old harness and installed the new in 3 days of after work time. As with all harnesses be sure to keep the old harness untill you are sure that you have everything connected because some plugs are hard to find or are no longer made.

I must say I am using the EZwire on the truggy because I was able to buy a 21 circuit loom for $150 of of CL. New in box. What a deal.

Nice, thx for the suggestions. I almost cant wait to get this started and hope it'll go smoothly. I would imagine 12 circuits would be fine? Also anybody ever move the fuse box? unless I take out the seat I can barely fit under there to check it out due to my huge muscles and all ;)

yeah, you can put it anywhere you want, but it does have some steering column plugs that will need to be close by. I can estimate they need to be no farther than stock location. Maybe 6" farther at the most, so on top of the dash would be fine. :)

The harness I suggested has a longer than normal column group that will allow you to locate your fuse panel in the engine compartment. It also comes with a steel cover that goes over your fuses to protect them.
