Hey was wondering if anyone had a good source for wiring harnesses i have a few in pretty beat up shape id like to replace.

I remember laying three harnesses on the living room floor and repairing one with pieces of the other to have all the wiring options available. More importantly in good repair.

There are some companies that make stuff for our trucks to totally replace. I have ordered from one and was not impressed. Maybe some of the other guys will have some positive experiences to relay.

what harness are you looking for? i have a few kicking around from doind a body swap. not sure if i need anything form them or not. what year is it also?

its an 85 and off the top of my head the worst one is the harness going back to the taillights and rear gate .. it runs along the drivers side framerail .. it was in sorry shape and then i made it even worse with a 2600 psi pressure washer ... it has a few shorts in it now :)

well if its the same i have one out of an 89. it does not have the wires for the rear window as i needed them for mine. if you want to get me a picture of the plugs on the tail light side. i can match them up to what i have if you want.

ya eventually i need to sit down and figure all the wiring stuff out i was hoping to find a good source as i can kinda figure it out if they had individual harnesses listed.

let me know. there just in my way as i dont need them. i also have the harness for the single headlight with marker under it

Every harness on that rig will unplug from main harness . It so easy to fix it in pieces .

The rear light , fuel gage sender wire , and tailgate harness runs inside the same loom , but each have there own plugs .

You could easily find another rig and just unplug that stuff . The hardest part is getting to the bolts for the adel clamps so you can take it all inside the loom , they are over the framerail and under the body in the 80's . Open end wrench and time .
