Ok so i started back up on my wiring to get this truck back on the road...

well now im at the headlight switch but confused...

there is a power line (from the battery) to the headlight switch.... i wired the headlights and they work.. so power through switch and im good..

however no other wire is hot on the switch... am i missing something here? do i need to complete all the circuits to make the power turn on?

i have white/orange/brown/green/red

red - power and connected
brown - to tail lights (this is where i noticed no power)
orange - think i remember that coming from the brake pedal switch and maybe one side is hot and the headlight switch is a pass through?

so if anyone can shed any light on how to wire a headlight switch id appreciate it...

ok found a pic that will help me.. now i have to utilize it... :D
