Ok, I want to wire up an auxillary back up light. I'd like to have a 3 position switch: Off, On, and On when put in reverse.
Can any of you wiring guru's give me some ideas on how to make it work???

Thanks.

automatic or manual??...

It's easy to do on an automatic--the neutral safety switch has the back up light switch built into it..just wire your light up to the back up light wires on your existing tailight harness, and wire the switch up to the two wires that run the back up lights on the neutral safety switch,to "jump" them, then they will come on manually with your toggle switch...

Rigging them up to a manual tranny is similar, but the switch is on the tranny itself, hard to get too,and runs off a ground rather than a power wire...I think just having it manually activated would be easier than trying to get them to work as they did factory,AND manually,on a manual tranny..
