i just put in an extra 73 wiring harness i had laying around in my 78. every thing works now except when i signal left the left blinker works but the right side turns on as well but its dim.what would cause this to happenCK5

I would first check the grounds at each corner.

maybe you just need to get a new blazer, instead of that p.o.s.
