Wiring Q's before I get too carried away

What are these black boxes and do I need them. The truck is an 86 K30 and originally had a 454. Could this have been for the computer controlled Qjet? There are lots of weatherpack connectors on the manifold that go nowhere. I'm just cleaning up the wiring and doing away with what I don't need.

Well I guess I feel better that 100 plus people don't know or don't care what they are. Neither do I, but the truck runs fine without them.

If you would post a much larger pic so we can actually SEE what these are then we might be able to help you determine what they are and if they are needed for anything important. :deal:

the left one looks like a relay, could be for a fuel pump? the right one i have no idea
 
I had both of those boxes as well, the key word is "had". Not exactly sure what they were for, but they are not necessary for operating the truck.

(I'm thinking that they were some sort of EMI filter)
