Wiring question

90 Blazer w/350.

#1. Big post on alternator, how many wires coming off it? Just one to the battery?

#2. Junction block on firewall. How many wires there and where do they go? Im showing 4 on mine, but diagrams look like one should go to alt.?????????

There's usually just one wire coming directly off the alternator. It does connect to the junction block eventually, but it's a long trip. It goes to the starter, then another wire goes up to the junction block from there.
