Wiring ??

My jimmy had a spot light in it at one time. The whole is still there. Can anyone tell me the best way to wire up a new one?

I'ld go strait to the battery with a togle and an in line fuse.

Well, haven't you just turned out to be the automotive electrician. LOL!!! YOu know I didn't think about it but, the new spot light should have some sort of directions or wiring kit shouldn't it? Less I get one from JcWhittney, then there is no telling what I'll get.

Wire it heavier than it needs to be, right to the battery, with a fuse.
