Finally got the Blazer running good. I'm fixing the small stuff now to finally get it ready to sell. I need to hear some opinions and suggestions to what you guys may think it'd be worth to list it for sale.

It's a '91, has a good, strong 5.7l TBI, 4L60 tranny, 3.73's in stock 10 bolts, body and paint looks good from a distance and up close until you see the rusty rockers and bubbling quarter panels. Has some hail dents on the hood and roof. All glass is good.

I'm planning on a 4" suspension lift, rear blocks, and some Mickey Thompson 35's on black 10" wide beadlock-wannabes.

Mileage is showing 187K. Interior is red and very, very clean and straight. Overall truck is white with red on the sides.

What would you say a good asking price would be? I'm guessing $4000.

Lets hear it.....

Forgot to mention that I'm selling it locally, so take a price into consideration for a local buyer.

$2K IMO, your best bet is to find comparable trucks and base your price off of that.

The rust isn't going to help draw a high price.

Im gonna say around $2500. No pics so I cant really see how bad the rust is but I paid $3k for my m1009. It sounds like my cucv has a better body than yours (some small rust spots, rockers aren't too bad) and it only had 74k miles. The rust and high miles would scare me away from that truck unless the price was right

I would think for $4K it'd have to be rust and dent free...$2500 sounds more realistic based on your description.

I guess it depends on the local market, but blazers around here are pretty cheap. I recently bought a '91 Jimmy with no rust, 155K mile and a good interior for $2500. Saw a late 80s with minimal rust for $1500 a few months ago and know of several in the $2000-3500 that have been for sale a long time.

I bought mine a little over a year ago with a couple of small dents, no rust (and I mean NO RUST), 3/4 ton upgrade with 4.88's & locker's f&r, 4" lift & 37" tires for $2,000. Odo said 173,000 on it when I got it & it has been calibrated for the bigger tires. Decent interior, but it was a parks service truck, so rubber floor mats & such. Everything on it works like a charm. If it didn't have a MAJOR trans leak from the last time I went wheeling, it would be my daily driver.

Just so you know.

Later,
Buddy

Well, guess I'll better luck making more off this piece of shhhiiittt by parting it out.
