Donno if this will fly in the garage or not. I am not selling anything, just asking for help on what stuff is worth.
There is some interest in buying my parts truck minus the transmission (which I need for my '91). I had planned on parting it out, and I don't really know what it would be worth semi-whole or in pieces. To the best of my knowledge everything is stock except the wheels and tires and exhaust.
I have only had this truck for about 6-9 months, hardly ever drove it until my DD died a couple weeks ago and have never really done anything with it. I do have a clean title.
It has:
Reasonably good front clip w/ one inner fender rusted (some interest in that as well)
TBI-350 runs good has taken me several hundred miles with no issues. Never runs hot, stays at 40ish PSI of oil pressure on the road. Check engine light comes on once and a while and then clears itself - haven't bothered to read the code.
NP241 T-case - shifts fine no issues.
10B axles front and rear. Steers and brakes OK. Brake light comes on occasionally over bumps but goes back off again after using brakes. No vibes from driveshafts.
floor is rusted out and carpet is toast
drivers seat is toast, but passenger and 3rd seat are OK
Doors have power windows and locks that work 50% of the time - haven't looked for the source of the problem
top is in OK shape - has sliding windows.
Dash is Ok, all gages work. A little play in the steering column, but no too bad.
Has a cheesy removable face CD/tape player and a trailer brake control.
Custom dual exhaust w/ chrome tips and flowmasters (no cats).
So what is it worth whole without a trans? And what is it worth as parts?
Keep in mind though it is rusted out in places we are south of the rust belt here.
I would kind of like to take some parts off of it for spares or upgrades for my '91, and make a little more money parting it out, but I would also like to be done with it. I guess the price difference is the deciding factor.
