I'm sure this has been asked to death and I did search but didn't come up with what I was looking for. Are there any lift kits for pre 88 2wd trucks that are suspension lifts and/or long travel kits? I'm not looking for anything huge or outrageous as I'm approx stock 4x4 height right now and just want a little more and don't like body lifts (minor is ok if only to clear tires etc and not too obvious). Also are there any kind of prerunner fenders/bedsides available anywhere aside from tweaking oe sheet metal thinking of something like some of those compacts with the obvious fiberglass body parts. I like the way my truck looks now as it is prerunnerish looking but want to take it a little further eventually.

Fab tech makes pretty good stuff for 2wd trucks. I think there's another company called Bell or Belle that make sthem too. Google search 2wd lifts

fabtech is the only company I've ever seen that makes a lift kit for a 2wd 73-87 chevy. Its only a 3" lift
EDIT: I just went to their website, apparantly they dont make it anymore as it is not listed.

fabtech is crap, i have seen more of their stuff break or not work right around here then anything else

yea I've heard fabtech made a kit but every time I'd look I never saw anything for older then 88. I've also heard of trucks breaking stuff when they would try to tow something with the fabtech kit on which wouldn't be a big deal to me since I don't tow anything anyways
