wont lock in park. help. somebody. please!!!

i put a new 1400 stall torque converter on my just remanufactured th350. now the range selector wont lock in park. there are no obstructions on the valve body side. anybody got any ideas?

did you adjust the shift linkage?

i got the transmission out and im shifting it from inside beside the valve body

the outside shifting stuff aint hooked up yet. i was in the middle of putting in a shift kit when i noticed it wouldnt lock in park.

rotate the input shaft till the park pawls lock in.

Why do you have two threads on this? Anyway, I already posted a response in the other one.

counter clockwise right?

it would be easier to rotate the output shaft if you can. it doesn't matter what way you turn it.
