Gotta question, the guy who bought my 88 K5 with 350 EFI .He said he drove it for about a week, then it started acting weird He says it fires right up and then shuts down within seconds. Any thoughts about this will be helpful, thank you.

ignition module signal to ecm fires injectors. Also have them check ECM B fuse.

Many cars prime the fuel pump when you turn the key, then rely on another signal to keep the pump on. Without that, the car simply runs out of gas every time. Do these TBI trucks need to see the signal from the oil pressure switch to keep the fuel pump on?

So the fuel pump relay and oil pump switch are parallel circuit.
They will both turn the fuel pump on. If one fails the other will continue to provide power.
Near the fuel pump relay is an unsed red 10-12 guage wire. If you provide fused 12 volt power to this wire the fuel pump will run if it is in good order.
If it runs this points the relay or signal.

Its that ECM-B fuse like Wes said. I have seen it before.
