Well, I did it! I found and bought a 91 V3500 crew cab! I went to Phoenix, Az. last Friday picked it up and drove it home (can you say 1700+ mile test drive /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif ). I looked for a TBI crew cab for months with no luck so when I finally found this one on Ebay I jumped on it. It needs a tailgate and paint and I think I'm going to lift it 4" and put some 33's on it then drive the crap out of it!

Oh yeah, it's got a 350, *4L80E*, 205, D60 & 14 bolt with 4.10's. It's a former U.S. Air Force truck.

Cool score--got any pics of her yet? Are you going to use it for a tow rig?

HEYY so YOUR the one that bought that nice ass truck eh!!??...i was just surfin ebay a couple days ago..went passed that truck...was thinking how hot it was and who the lucky person might be..then kept looking at trucks! lol...congrats on a great score man! glad it was a fellow ck5er!

Thanks! Yeah man, that was me! Initially I was afraid to bid on it because it was so far away but I figured what the heck AND WON! It runs good, the only problem I had driving home was a fan clutch in Los Cruces, N.M., other than that it runs GREAT!

some summer i think im going to look for a nice rust free truck out that way..will make a nice road trip!

It's a road trip alright! No offense to anyone that lives in west Texas but that part was hours and hours of NOTHING! It was a tough drive since I was by myself, very boring, lots of pretty mountains to look at but that's all.

A friend looked at my truck last night and he says he is feinitely buying a west coast truck when he's ready to start his new project. The rust-free part is SWEEEET!

LOL, that is so very true. Land is cheap out there - now you know why.
