Work boots ??

after buying the brahama walmart specials and having them hurt my feet, i won't buy anything other than redwing or coleman. suprisingly coleman makes some pretty comfortable work boots

Love my Dr. Martens
X2

I have two pairs of Docs, one black and one brown, and both are three to four years old. They are barely starting to show some wear, and are as comfortable as the day I got them. The steel toes are available, and the boots are far more comfortable than any other brand I have worn.

No one over states side where Cat's? I have been wearing them for the last 4 sets of boots they last well and are comfortable. I get about 1 year per pair working 10 to 12 hours per day in a metal fab tool shop building automotive machinery.

I've had a couple pairs of Cat boots........they suck the ball sweat off a dead monkey. compared to redwings.

you'll likely have to find a redwing store. you can't go to Marks work warehouse or the like to find them.

its the after sales support you get with redwing that makes the deal. you get free boot cleanings, lifetime supply of laces, lifetime warrantee repairs on stitching and the sole.

That would explain why I have never seen them before I have herd about them but of the 3 boot trucks that come to our shop every 3 months must not carry them. Of I have to I will run to the states to look at a pair they seem to be the most recommended.

There's a Redwing store on Eureka Rd if you're familiar with the area in Detroit.
