work college and wheelin?

anyone on here manage to do all 3 with any success i am starting back to college in a month (been out 4 years) and i don't know how i am going to juggle all 3 i am already going to have to cut back to part time at work from the looks of it

and also my blazer is in pretty bad shape right now with the way the frame is bending more and more everytime i wheel it so i don't know how i will have time to work on it so i am thinking about not renewing the tags or inspection its depressing :confused: it will be about 2 1/2 years of college before i can do much with it so i don't know if i should part it out or keep it parked in the back just to rot or what

any thoughts?
 
work = out on medical at this point. NOT work related.

schoolin = ck5

play = web wheelin on ck5

its easy and cheep. :haha:
 
i only can do two of the three. i am almost done with school and work on the side. i dont have any money for the k5. what i do have goes into savings. so i am no help i guess!

well now I am too old to jugle all that, but when I was in college I was working full time and still managed to go wheeling, work on converting my Van to 4wd , go camping, swimming...
I even managed to travel in the break times.
I had a full life when I was in College :thumb:
 
yea i manage to go wheeling go to school and work a 8 hour a day job when i get home. the trick is to train yourself to not sleep very often lol. you can sleep when your dead man

Yeah I was working 12 hour days and going to college full time, and I would go on week ends or days off, or if I had short days.
I also went hunting every morning and some evenings too.
I was sleeping anywhere between 1 hour to 4 hours a day all thru my 20's
Now I need at least 5 hours a day plus a couple of hours on CK5 and a couple of hours watching the news, so it doesn't leave me much time.
Plus having a wife and kid I need to be with them too.:dunno:
 
Thats what im doing. I just had to make a few adjustments to make it work.
1.Cut out dating
2.Cut out most social activity

Im Introverted anyways and after growin up with my sisters im fairly convinced all women are evil bitches trying to devour my soul so i dont mind that too much either.

I have to work my 40 hours. squeeze school in, and then head out after a morning shift and play the rest of the day if i feel like wheelin, and then eat the exhaustion up the next morning. Money wise it sucks too. i spend about 800 a month on gas, maintenance, and cool sh*t for my truck. =]

And i've grown accustomed to sleeping ~4 hours a night.
 
Same thing here didn't sleep much in college. Went wheeling couple times a week worked full time and was in school
 
I finished my schooling this year. i managed to have all three but nothing amazing in any of them. i wheeled and fixed my truck late at night or early in the morning. i worked a 40 hour work week, and around finals time i would just put the truck on hold and move into my schools computer lab.

It can be done, but like everyone else is saying done expect get alot of sleep

Who said anything about no dating?
That was in there too, where is the fun if you don't. don't get married but go out and have fun.:waytogo:
 
when I was in college I took 16-17 hrs per semester, worked 40 hrs a week, did after hours mechanic work when I had spare time and still had time to go wheelin.:D

now I didnt go wheelin every weekend but I would say at least once a month. lookin back I dont know how I managed with 4 hours of sleep or less every night but I remember it being fun:dunno:

I didnt cut out dating or social activity either. just find dates/friends that like to go wheeling or study/do homework, and then you can multitask

oh, and had good grades too. there were a couple semesters when my grades suffered a little but my overall gpa at the end was like 3.2 I think, so not that bad.
 
im workin 40 hour week, goin back to school in 3 weeks, and i do everything on my blazer on the weekends, and sometimes you have to ditch the girlfriend:haha:

That needs to be another category in itself lol.

So I must say I do all 4, I dont wheel that much, but im always working on something on it. Last semester I had 18 credits and was working 20-30 hours a week. I dont sleep alot, i guess ive trained myself to run on none lol.

What keeps me going you ask????..........

I got all three going on and it pains me to say that I've put the Blazin on the back burner for awhile now. I've been able to squeeze in a couple projects over the past two years but I got big plans once I graduate next spring. I should probably start saving up now.
 
well i am going to see how everything goes my g/f is happy to see me back in school but she don't think we will have much time for fun once i start maybe wheelin or goin to the lake once a month won't be that bad it will all be worth it in the end is what i keep telling myself
 
back in the day, i drove an hr. worked 7-1. had school from 1:30 to 6. then drove 1hr home. picked up the truck or the dirtbike and had fun. i was out camping, wheelin, biking way more than i do now. these days its only 4 miles to work instead of 50
