What are guy's wearing? Hold up good?

My uniform is pretty much a polo, and black BDUs (and in less than a year, a gun :D)

I'm in need of some new pants, and have decided against getting them through work as I'd like to keep them. Any suggestions? BDUs, or any good work pants (that are not jeans) will do :wink1:

I wear my old army uniforms, or coveralls that the army gave me.

I love my BDU's. Cant stain em for some reason. I can wrench all day then go out with the ol lady to supper in the same pants1

Not too sure who makes them. Military issue though. Available at any Army/Navy surplus, or maybe at your local flea market.

lots of different companies make them, they over charge for them at surplus stores that are not close to actual bases. Drive close to an army / airforce base and look at those shops, they are cheap, and great.

I've had good luck with Dickies shirts and pants. IIRC JC Penney's catalog (or Sears) has them with better deals for 2 or more. I've worn the pants with the cell pocket. They're more like a business work pant if that makes sense. Almost like a service writer at an auto dealership would wear. You can get them at WalMart too, as well as the work shirts. Good luck in your career!

I to have had great luck with there pant's and shirts.

I use carhartt dungaree pants with the full chap, tough as nails. I also have a pair with the knee pad inserts in, which come in very handy. Only thing I can see that has become a problem is the rivets can get real cold in the winter and sometimes dig into you when your laying on a hard surface, such as a concrete.

dickies or carhart.i have both.carhart for cold weather stuff mostly though, and the dickies can be worn at work or for leisure as they are a lil more dressy for work cloths, but last forever.i have a pair that ive worn almost 5 years now.very stain and rip resistant.

Please, excuse Hoby. If it isn't big coller rayon disco shirts and Angel's flight pants, he refuses to walk the streets at night earning his cash.:haha:

I'm just bringing it back, biatch........and "Hammer" Balloon pants too.

And I will have to agree with Buefchris on the Carhart stuff. Think of Paul Bunion wearing the saddle color overalls 365 days a year. That is our friend, Buefchris.:wink1:

I wear whatever I happen to have on. Even if my wife doesn't agree with me working on the 'Burn in my sunday clothes!

I could never wear pants to work on something in FL

Gym shorts and a T-shirt for me
