Well I have been making some nice progress with the help of my good friend. We cut out the 2 rust holes in the floor and welded new steel in then cleaned off the floor and coated the floor with Eastwood Rust Encapsulation which I am impressed with a very good base coat for stuff like a mud trucks floor or and truck frame.

wow that looks great... almost good enough to eat off of :)

very nicely done... if you dont mind, how much was that stuff from eastwoods?

Sorry for the slow response.

This is not gonna be show quality I just want a solid, durable truck that I can clean with a hose so after the whole floor is done bedliner (LINE-Xish) will go on.

The rust encapsulator is not cheap but I should be able to use it liberally on the project and hopefully get the expected long terms effects I am looking for. That being said it was $117 plus shipping. I got it on ebay direct from them.

I got more done the roof had a 12" x1" spot that needed to be cut out the body filler stages are pretty much done just some glazing putty and sanding left. I will shoot some pics later on of that.

The summer came and I got lazy. Plus no help getting the old body off. Well now the weather is nice I am not waiting for help. I decided the old body need ed to get gone so I started cutting. Almost got it all off in 3 hours
