I am designing and fabricating rock sliders for my /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif and have one question before I begin. I am curious to where you guys (blazers included) attach them to the body. You cannot really weld them to the body seem, so do you bolt it to the braces underneath? I will have a full write-up and pics when I finish. Lets figure this out for all the truck guys!! /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

Some of the kits come with angle and you bolt the angle to the body mounts then the tube welds to the angle thats hanging down.

Dont forget the braces that run back to the trucks body mount for support /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

I welded my 3"x3" square tube sliders to the factory body braces and the sheet metal left in the door sill from where I cut the rocker boxes out. They are plenty stout for moderate/heavy use.
