Who has one and how many brands are there? Likes and dislikes. Would you buy again? Reviews? I had a work mate when I was like 18 and did use it but it was not a great tool IMO. Are there better ones out there these days? Are there others available?

A guy on another forum just posted this - Keter's folding work table - $40.

I have two of those cheap-o Black and Decker folding tables, and they are crappy but work well enough for what I do.

Now thats intresting......I like what I saw. I wouldn't want to put 1000 lbs on it like they say it's rated at, you see how much it flexed when the guy jumped on it, but for what I want it would never have that kind of weight on it anyways. And at $40 bucks, thats a great price for damn sure. Thanks for posting.

I have 2 of the larger Workmates, and I like them very well. Great for around the house work. For instance, they worked perfectly for planning some sticky doors to fit better. Not especially heavy duty or rigid, but the "vise" works well enough for wood work. Best I can say is that while they are not really up to any real contribution for fab work, I like them and would not want to let them go.

Thanks for the input Russ. Glad to see you comin round more often. :waytogo:

Wonder if you can actually find them a costco's for $40 still
