Would a tiny hole and crack in my exhaust maninfold make a difference in how my K5 runs. I ve tried patching it, but it just doesn't seem to hold the liquid metal. I might try to take the header off and fix it like that, but I am just wondering whether it makes a signficant difference to how the truck runs. Also, if I come across a set of used headers, can I use 350 headers for a 305..Thanks guys,

Marc D

depends on how big the hole and crack are. Probably not noticeable except for that annoying sound. Yep, 350 and 305 headers are interchangable. Could be a different tube size. Not sure about that. I would say they are identical.

most all headers are 1 5/8" tube,

some '80-up 305 have wider exhaust bolt pattern for one of the exhaust ports
