I finally "finished" the so-called "Truck/Blazer". I put the 396 in it on Saturday and drove it home last night. The only thing left is body work/paint.

Would this look good in black? Either that or leave it that maroon color.

If that pic doesnt show, heres a link: http://community.webshots.com/album/41363667APUTic

I'd leave it maroon /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif but black would look good /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

you should paint it a [censored] brown and wite 2 tone /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif like mine. soory i do nto have any pics i really do not know how to put em on here

Black always looks great when its clean, BUT it is hard to keep clean...AND it also shows EVERY little ripple, dent, scratch, etc. This comes from experience...my first car was Black. Loved it when it was new...hated it by the time I sold it. But it DOES look good. Do what you want.

Two tone blue and white !!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Solid white would look really good /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Mary Kay PINK!!

LOL /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif. I am partial to red and gray or blue and gray

I just finished painting on my K5's solid white with a red pinstripe. It turned out really good if I do say so myself. Especially since I didnt have a paintbooth to do it in. It was my first paintjob on my own.

My .02,

NEON GREEN!! j/k I think black would look good, but that's what color mine is for right now. I plan on painting it a desert camo this spring sometime. I'll post pics up when it's done.

So many options...

I was going to do a dark blue, but I already have two blue rigs. My friend already has a Yellow Suburban... and I have something orange... but I dont want to stand out too much in this anyway.

I already have something red, but nothing black. Nothing solid white either. I do realize how much work/upkeep black is to make it look decent. Hmmm... so many options.

This is why I like white /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

How about a two tone light silver / dark grey ??? Two ton like the factory did back in the 70's only in modern colors like I mentioned, with a black interior. That'd look good !!!!!! Can't forget the black soft-top for it though. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Flat black rolled on like mine /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/burb.gif

i say paint is overrated, mine is painted scratchdent /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
i like them pics, where is that? i wanna come play in that mud /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

I'll probably end up spraying it rattlecan *insert color here* for now. I'm thinking black...then I can always change it later when I discover all those dents and dings that I can't see now.

The interior is all in nice shape. It's all light grey with some real nice seats out of like a mini-van. Whatever they are, they look like they belong there. Black goes well with grey, but then again, grey goes with almost any color.

Uglychevy383, What pics did you see? If they were the Potential Fun album, thats all around our place up in Ione, Wa. I restrained myself from playing the whole time I was there... I tried driving the 2wd around everywhere to get the pics to keep me in line. But I still ended up taking it up some steep powerline hills and through spots of 4-6" of snow. Almost got stuck a couple times, but I made it back. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Too dark of a color show's dirt real bad, as doe's a really light color, somewhere in the middle? Hmmmm how about a Light gold/tan metallic? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
