Mine are decent on the front but the back ones are pretty shot. I have a loud humming from the back and orginally assumed that since these weren't really mud tires that wouldn't be it, and it was the rear end, but the noise sounds just like mud tires humming. Thanks for any suggestions. This will be a daily driver and see moderate off road use, i need a good all terrain that is quiet on the highway. Thanks!

Generally tires will get louder as they wear, especially the more aggressive all-terrain and mud-terrain versions. A lot of the problem is they don't wear perfectly even.

i hope that is what it is...

and not the rear end. What kind of noises would a rear end make if it was going out??

x2.

This happens on high performance car tires too, especially the fronts under braking when pretty worn.

Try putting them on the front and seeing if the noise changes.

If the noise is there after you switch front to back check u-joints. Have you pulled the rear drive line latley if so flip it 180 and see if it helps

put on two new rear tires

humm is gone. well you can hear these tires but not half as bad as the others.
