Would my 1st gen be Jumping the Shark?

the hinge is still on the pillar in the normal place with most lambo doors..... why wouldnt they work on a convertable most will still open straight out like normal too if you want, but can be raised for looks when ever

Yep and they also open the normal way besides going up and to the front. Not straight up like gullwing doors.

Guy across the street has a mustang with lambo door mod.

WTF. They have chevys trucks from 1960-72. Then they skip all the way to 88 and up to new stuff. Lame.

Doors that fold down and turn into steps like some of the small planes, maybe like a sliding ladder to account for where the window normally goes?

Better yet the inflatable escape slide
