Would someone give me a 5C collet?

I am trying to finish up a collet drawbar for my lathe and was wondering if any of you mochinist types had a wrecked 5C collet laying around that just hasn't made it's way to the scrap pile yet. I dont care what condition the face or bore are, but would like it to be undamaged on the outside. I'd really appreciate it if anyone could donate to my sickness of neverending projects.

Thanks, fellas. I only need one to get measurements and test fit, then I plan on buying a whole set. If the bore or face are damaged, no problem, as long as the outside is good.

I have an old one I can let ya have but shipping it will be somewhat difficult. post office is closed by the time I get off work. let me see what I can do. PM me with an address. if I can get off before the post office closes on Saturday I will get it shipped. thats the best I can do. any local surplus machine tool or swapmeets aroung your area. that might be easier or atleast quicker.

oh man!! sorry about that!! I found a brass 5C collet that will work for ya last week, I set it down and got busy making a race/driver but shipping the collet completely slipped my mind, Im a dumbass, I should have shipped them at the same time . outa sight, outa mind. thanks for the reminder though.

I will get it ready to go and send it out tomorrow. dont worry about paying for shipping. I will take care of it, thats the least I could do to redeem some of my embarrasment . I can make the post office before they close during the week now so its not a problem.

again, sorry about the delay, no excuses, I completely brain farted and forgot. will get a tracking # for ya to let you know it was shipped.
