Would this be a good air compressor?

To be honest, NO. You want to find a compressor that puts out at least 10 SCFM @ 90psi so it will keep up with your most demanding air tools (grinder, drill, ratchet). It doesn't matter how much capacity the tank holds if there isn't enough SCFM's it won't do you much good.

Follow the advice - I know from experience. I had a direct drive compressor with similar output. It's REALLY frustrating to have to stop and wait for pressure to build back up to finish grinding a cut or to finish a cut.

It claims its ideal for sheetmetal and only has two voltage settings.

And its not shielded i.e. it can only use expensive flux core wire.
