This would be for my suburban. My first thing is to find out how bad my suburban 6.2 is. I blew a head gasket and possibly more. http://coloradok5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=242043

I have not touched the burb since it has went down. I can give some time this weekend once my wife is off of work. What is the quickest way to did if I did more damage than the head gasket? Pull the heads and the pan?

I really would just like to fix mine, but if i did major damage I will just replace. I need to have this thing running by April as I am having ankle surgery and will not be able to walk to work for a few months.

Man I think that is a hell of a deal if you can manage to get it for around $300 plus shipping...parts and labor would cost quite a bit more than that....but do you have a lead on some good heads?
