nice old K5... might be an easy fix if no frame damage

Could go either way, the frames are pretty light duty on these trucks. Call a body shop and ask the hourly rate on the frame rack then decide if the truck is nice enough to take a gamble on. Looks like a nice one, shame it got bent up

Definitely bent
The bumper to s pushed up and that door being sprung who knows what with the A pillar
If it's rust free surely the tub is worth 800 in Midwest and east coast

I'm not sure about the rust free part.... By the looks of the hole in the lower front 1/4 panel and the pile of rust on the floor right below it..... I'll say it has some rust.

Even if the frame is bent, a reputable frame repair shop can do wonders for a wrecked truck. I would not think twice about having one repaired. In fact, I had an '85 Jeep CJ7 that I wrecked and twisted the frame. A frame shop straightened it out fine, and it drove straight. I had the same thing with a '92 Chevy K1500 short bed truck. Obviously a majorly bent frame is more of a gamble, but a slightly bent frame should not be something to run away from. IMO, the Blazer shown above definitely does have frame damage.

it's not terribly difficult to weld a new frame horn in place - as long as the back is square. Even if not, those frames were not terribly square from the factory so if you pull it back to tolerance, it could actually be better then new

It also has the bent hood. I've heard the reason for this feature of the bent hood is in a crash to prevent the hood from entering the cabin thru the glass.

That is true, it's also a feature to let people know whether or not the person who owns a 73-80 truck has done all, proper maintenance. Bent hood? it means the owner is someone who breaks rocks in a sandbox and thinks oil only is installed at the factory.
