I wouldn't for $6000. Your intentions aren't the clearest to me, but if you want a rig for the street and for light trails you could buy someones 1 ton K5 for $6000 with all the goodies already there. If yours is already trail only narrow it, chop the top off and your set. Plus you could have a bunch of cool parts to swap back and forth between the 2 to make the ultimate dual purpose rig and the ultimate trail rig and the best part is that you wouldn't have to try to understand the Jeep thing./forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

No heep is worth that much /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Yea man that sounds like too high of a price. Stick with a Chev' /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Seems kinda steep for the $$. If you want a Jeep, buy a beater, rustbucket, or rolling chassis. Should be able to get into that for around $500 (depending). Buy a fiberglass body tub, chevy drivetrain if ya like, etc. You can have a pretty decent Jeep for $5000 & time.
