Would you trust a JEEP Liberty...

What a stupid design, even aside from the weak casting of the upper control arm. That 'fork' over the halfshaft looks like something you'd see on scarysteering.com...

HAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA... :haha: :rotfl: What the heck happenned here?????????????????????

Yeh liberty's have known problems with the upper balljoints, especially the 02's (first year).

I'd bet there was indication it was going and they didn't do anything about it. One of the guys at work has a Liberty for his wife, she loves it and he says he hasn't had a single problem with it.

Would you trust an F150? I had one come into work a few weeks ago, inner tierod end that did the samething. Ball came out of the tierod end. Guy bungee corded it together and drove it to us at the dealership.

In all fairness, cars, (and "trucks") have become so maintenance free, and easy to lease/use/turn in, that people havn't got a clue what a noise/clunk means. This truck looked well maintained/not at all beat. I forgot to ask the woman owner how many km's, (Kanada, eh?). But I did email her, so we may yet find out the ending to this saga, and our manfriends can go to bed...
