WOW!!! Beautiful truck

Those are nice but I still think those 72 suburbans converted to crew cabs were nicer.

I like the V3500 better than the fake 1/2 ton crew.

Yeah, but buy it for $18K! That's a lot of coin.

Hell, thinking about it...I'll probably have that in mine when I'm finally done. :doah:

I have seen that longbed one before, I think I saw it at autotrader.com, when I was looking for one.

I really don't like the shortbed ones

I was planning on going short bed on mine, however the long bed has grown on me. Good looking trucks but dang 18k :eek1:

4L80E with the 6.2...definitely one of the more rare combo's I've ever seen. :eek1:

Do you think the short bed would still be a good 5th wheel tow vehicle? That would be cool.
No.....

1/2ton axles and 5th wheels is an oxymoron and shortbeds make things very cramped with a 5th wheel hooked up. Some people with the right bulky trailer and 5th reciever have to be carefull that the corner of the trailer doesn't hit the back of the cab when turning hard.

The shortbed crew cab is a parts robbed, someone's leftovers, goobermobile.:D Checking out a nice crew cab and then looking down to see twin 10b axles is like noticing a blonde with a beautifull face, a nice rack, and a fat bulge in the pants...:eek1: :haha:

The white long bed looks great and I think I'd be willing to pay up to 13-14K or so for it, but it has a HUGE problem with it....

If you look at the door panel picture, you can tell it's a custom deluxe base model pile. If it was a Silverado with full trim I'd be willing to fork out $16K+ for it.

You have to relize the kind of money it takes to restore a crew cab like that. The interior is twice as big, more sheetmetal to have fixed by the body man, HD drivetrain that costs double to rebuild compared to a K5, and the list can go on!

That about sums it up.
