Im going to be installing the diy4x wraptor and backbone here on my 84 4 door long bed soon. Any suggestions ? What measurements work best for the length for the wraptor? Pictures would be great. Thank you

Go look at my channel. I have a video on it. Not sure if I list measurements but basically you need the shackle to be perpendicular to the ground

You probably need to talk to Kert. I don't think there's a "best length", I think the theory of the bar length is going to want to place it's front mount as close to the center of the vehicle as possible but that's probably not practical for you. You would also need to consider that at a certain length (??) the bar is going to want to bow under heavy power which would defeat it's purpose.

I also wonder if the carrier bearing placement will create a problem.

I bought the kit for the long bed. Lot of good information in that thread and vid.

OK, that should be same kit that I have so the anti-wrap is on top of the driveshaft. Here's an older pic with it flexed.

One thing I would be careful of is making sure the driveshaft does not come in contact with the crossmember at full bump, mine did. I have a shortbox though.....
