I bought some aluminum 16x8" wheels at the swap meet for my '79 K10 with 1-ton drivetrain. I knew it had an 8x6.5" bolt pattern and did a rough measurement on these wheels, but now come to find out they don't fit! I think these are like 8x6.75" maybe, is there a way to make them fit or should I just try to re-sell them?

There are really only two 8 lug bolt patterns on light duty trucks, 8x6.5" and some metric BS that Ford used on later model trucks.

If they're 8 lug and don't fit, they're probably from a later model Ford. No way to modify them to fit.

theres the adapter/spacer type deal. it goes from 8x6.5" to 8x170mm. alternatively you can have the wheel redrilled to 8x6.5, costly though.

That'd make them right around 8x170mm which is the Ford pattern used on 99+ Super Duties.

Sell them and get the right stuff. Don't bother with redrilling or adapters. Too much work and extra maintenance to make the wrong thing work.
