Looking for a locker for my 3.73 10.5" 14BFF axle. Would prefer a Gov-lock, Powertrax (No-Slip), or Truetrac, but a Detroit/Grizzly/Lock-Right might suffice. Also in need of a disc conversion for same axle.

Lemme know if you have either of these, or a cheap 14BFF axle that comes with two out of the three (correct gear ratio, locker, or discs)

I have a good used Detroit and some brand new disc brackets. How's $400 shipped for both?

I thought about this over the weekend, and I think I'll hold out for one of my preferred options (probably Powertrax, if nobody has a cheap G80). Summit's price for a NIB Detroit is $424 shipped, and I can get the brackets for $50 new. A $74 savings isn't enough to talk me into a Detroit when I don't think it will be the best fit for my application.

You wanna sell just the disc brake brackets?

I'll knock off another $25 if that helps. I had priced my used DL for $350 and the brackets for $50 of which I would have covered the shipping. Used DL's going rates today are averaging about $350 so if the total of $375 shipped will help you out then I can do this. You'd be saving $50 alone on the DL plus getting the brackets and shipping for free.

I'm not trying to fleece you on the price, I've been thinking that the Detroit is not the optimal locker for my application. You can read my thoughts here, if you haven't already. I'll keep thinking about it, as it's clear that not everybody dislikes their snow performance. And it would cost an extra $150 for me to buy the Powertrax vs. your combination deal.

I must be overthinking this. :dunno:

Talked to Wifey about this, and she has convinced me to simply rock the Detroit and not worry about it. You still have this combination for sale?
