I'd like to purchase a 5-speed manual swap. I'd like to get everything to do it. pedals, crossmember if needed, trans, transfer case, driveshafts, just pure everything to do the swap. I'll be swapping from a tbi350/700r4/241 to the 5-speed. I need it all and will be purchasing in about a month. please let me know what you got!

thanks,

chris

I'm sure that somebody is going to ask, well chris... what trans do you want to go with. Truth be known i do nothing more than cruise the beach, some light trail riding, and daily driving so any working trans will work.

If you plan to install this into your '89 K5 you won't be able to get everything from one parts truck. Hydro clutch pedals will have to come from '84-87/91 body style. Bellhousing, clutch and transmission/tcase from '88-99 or so body style, and a flywheel for a '86-90something (internally balanced & 1 piece rear main seal) SBC.

The computer may need to be changed as well, most likely coming from the same vehicle as your 5 spd source as long as it's OBD1.

Just so you know, when GM went with the 1 piece rear main seal engine starting in 1986 they were externally balanced on the rear but not the front.
