Just like the title says, I'd like to buy the parts necessary to change my quad light 1986 to a 91 style Cheyenne grille and headlight setup. Mine is rather ratty looking and I like the Cheyenne setup better anyway. Thanks!!!

if your talking 89-91 cat eye's quad headlight you need core support out .

and fyi grill and headlight bezels are specific to chevy or gmc .

Just to clarify, I have this grille (odd pic, I know, I wanted to black out the company logos that were on the truck when I got it so, did the best I could in microsoft paint, LOL!):

o.k. that is core support also since there different from 2 to 4 headlight .

if you do a lot of night driving you will miss the quad light tho . as you get 4 highbeams .

I didn't realize that, that's pretty cool!!! I just like the base model grille look better though. (although, I am also contemplating the up level GMC grille (the equivalent to the 89-91 Silverado) if I buy this parts 'Burb I am looking at. If I don't get the 'Burb I will be going Cheyenne grille; I just figured I'd put a WTB out for the Cheyenne grille now (just in case the parts 'Burb falls through) since I figured it might be months before I got a hit on it! I prefer the base model grille BUT, if I buy the parts 'Burb, I won't have the budget for the grille and will roll with the up level grille (hopefully my blithering makes sense, lol!)) My previous square body was a single headlight GMC so, figured I might make this one a sing headlight Chevy (my two favorite grilles!):

why not just get a base model simple grill for your vintage ?

then fab a few simple brackets to hold the turn signals to the core support in place of the grill like your style .

also non Silverado trim mold headlight bezels . to get rid of the center trim .

I appreciate the idea but, I actually don't especially like the base model grille of my vintage. (other than the GMC version like above, and I wouldn't only be switching the grille if going GMC)

Just FYI, my old '91 Cheyenne crew cab had a quad headlamp grille. It's about the grille option rather than trim level (Cheyenne, Silverado, etc).

Good point!- I've seen the quad lights on a Cheyenne before (it's some "appearance package" or something like that) but, never a "base" grille on a silverado. I'm beginning to give up and may just try to find a new center section for my grille. (it has a an aftermarket center section sans bowtie, and it is cracked to boot) It's actually rather goofy of me to bother to try to find a new grille as the truck is "aesthetically challenged" at best but, I do like the looks of a nice grille! I'm still holding out a little longer in hopes of finding a base Cheyenne grille!
