'84(?) to '91. Can't remember exact yrs.
Needs to have the door jamb retractor plunger.
Don't care about color or condition of the seat belt.
Frayed, dirty...doesn't matter. Just needs to have a good retractor. I'll be rebuilding the entire thing. Let me know if you have one.
Thanks very much in advance!

I have a set out of a '90. Could you give me more info on what I should check out on the retractor?

When you pull the belt out, it should lock in position as if you were in the seat and then when you push the the plunger it should go back in. There is a metal tab inside the plastic housing that releases when the plunger is pushed.
As long as the belt retracts back in when the plunger is pushed, we're good.
I would really hate to break up a good set as I can grab a lefty belt from a recycle yard(not pick and pull).
ANY left hand '83-'91 should be the same. Even the plunger can be sun beat or broken.
I should really do a K5 seat belt tech write up...

Ok. I will check it out. I am not real concerned about breaking up this set so far as these don't match the ones in my '90 or my buddie's either. They have the orange relase button on the buckle, where ours don't.

Yeah, near as I can tell they changed the female end and the male buckle end but the retractor is the same inside.
TRW took over seat belts from Irvin and carried over into the GMT Blazer series. Inside the trap door, there is a pop rivet that holds on the outside plastic cover. Drill that out and cover will just pop off. The inner belt mechanism should be the same as '83-'89.
Maybe a photo swap is in order...

Not uncommon. Those plungers get beaten up pretty good.
Thanks for looking! Think I got a line on one. Find out tomorrow if the guy can find it.
