I think I have one, Let me check today. I will let you know later tonight.

I cant imagine what the freight would cost though.

thanks for looking its got to be better than the 600 smackers for a new one.

found a new junk yard here in town and they have 4 blazers and 6 trucks that might have one have to go look but its only 7 degrees out and its snowing. so ill go look saturday

The shortest one I have is about 27.5" collapsed and about 32" extended.

at ride height mine measures 27 i have to pull it and measure extended but the high
was 23 degrees so im a wimp when it comes to cold, no more padding.

Is that a factory shaft or have you altered the truck?

I didn't get time to check mine today but with these dimensions I can verify tomorrow.

I guess let us know how it goes for you on Saturday.

Ya I have someone who pmed me about one but I'm still going to check out the new junk yard ill take a few pics

well just got the shaft out and it measures 27 1/4 collapsed got to extend it and measure but its 20 degrees out so had to warm up first

Think I may have a good one at my shop if you want to shoot me a pm on Monday. If I do we send a guy out to Lubbock usually about once a week so could work out a delivery.

I've climbed under plenty of Chevys in junkyards and never found a good one - slip joint is always loose on the few that aren't gone already. Check on eBay and you can get a used one for <$100 (but I don't know how you get an honest evaluation of the condition before purchasing) or a brand new custom one for $250.

And up here we just wish that it would get up to 20 degrees. There is this cool new thing called a garage, though. It lets you climb on cement instead of snow drifts and run a heater to work when it's cold.

I bought a t case off of a guy last night that's parting out a 89 k5 said he would take 40$ for both shafts
