my truck is originally from upstate new york so a lot of the weather stripping is dry rotted and there is a leak in both sliders due to that. no one makes the correct weather stripping i need either. so as of right now im giving it one last try to keep them by caulking the living **** out of them. if they stay dry after that then ill keep them if not then they're going bye bye. so that being said i will no if i need them by the end of February prob by next sat. so if they leak ill take you up on yours and if they miraculously stay dry ill be keepin them and im sorry for bothering yah.

i tried lmc, the dealer, local places, and cheyenne pick up. no one makes it. just a warning to anyone else. if caulking it doesnt work ill wind up puting solids in. pus i think the trucks look more clean with solid windows

im pretty sure lmc makes it. I was looking in there for the slider conversion with the seals and i saw them. ill look again tonight.

trust me they dont. in the lmc catalog they call it the "sliding side window rubber" so i ordered two. one for each side. it wasnt the right part. the part that is leaking is the hard to describe if someone can get me a close up of the sliders i can show yah but its pouring out here so....

so its a seal on the sliders, not the window to cap seal?

yeah the seal between the cap to the sliders is fine its the actual window that is leaking.once it gets warmer and dryer i can take pictures if your curious

Thanks for that. Guess i wont go for sliders. I went to the local yards and found a few sliders. They arent the hardest to rip off the cap. They wanted 75 each down here. I imagine you can find solids up there for around the same price. Most i found were tinted too.
