Folks,
I am looking for a complete heater box for my 91 Suburban. I don't care about the core but need everything else. I'm pretty sure there is a wide year range so if you think you have something that might fit drop me a line please.
The part in question is bolted to the interior firewall under the dash and behind glovebox.

So I assume you don't want a/c combo, just heater?
 
Sorry, it's been a few years since I owned a one of theses series trucks. I need the AC/heater combo. Thanks for asking.

I have a box disassembled no heater core or a/c diffuser. They were leaking so I scrapped them.
The fan motor is good I will check on the cage.
It came from my 91, I will take $25 plus shipping.
If you need the dash controller I have it too

Sounds like that might work. What does the AC diffuser look like? My box was cracked in several places and I don;t know off hand if the diffuser was one of those broken parts.

I think I used the wrong term.
It's the evaporator, basically a/c little radiator inside the box.
That one the line coming in was broken.
I will send pics of what I have and let me know if it will work for you.
I used to have lots of these complete but I have been scrapping a lot to clean up

Gotcha. I'm a little behind the power curve. I only need the heater box. My AC evap and the box that surrounds it are intact. I thought maybe the heater box was different if the truck did't have AC

So do you need the fiberglass box under the hood?
That's what I have and still have the blower in it
 
If I am being dense I apologize. I am looking for the box mounted inside the passenger compartment attached to the firewall. It is under the glovebox.
The heater core mounts inside this box and also all the control cables and air flow doors.

I had a bunch of the inside boxes let me see if I kept 1

Not a problem at all, I feel fine and appreciate your effort. I have to make a run out to Colorado in February and it would be nice to have heat.
 
I will get out in my shop tomorrow night and get you some pics! You are looking for a heat-a/c box correct? Do you already have the inside of cab portion?

I am looking for the inside the cab portion. The box that attaches to the firewall under the dash behind the glove box. The one with all the air doors and where the control cables attach.
 
Yep, got a bunch of those, actually removing one right now from my project Jimmy. Just going with aftermarket heat & defrost because I'm building a custom dash. Get pics tomorrow.
 
I'm with you as I was on the fence about doing the same thing. I'm sticking with the stock heater/AC for now to concentrate on the suspension. Thanks.
