I am looking for a 235 or 261 inline six for my dad. He is wanting to build a hipo hot water six for his 1930 chevy car and must have a good bottom end.

how much you lookin to spend? theres a truck in killeen i was lookin to buy and take some parts myself. maybe you could have the whole rest of the truck sans rear axle.

What year model of truck is it because all I need is the motor and maybe the trans if it is a top shift. If it is a grain truck it will have the 261. Let me know about what they are asking for the truck.

Well there is a guy here that is taking out a recently freshened up 292 chevy to put a 454 instead.
I know that is bigger than you were looking for and far too, but thought I throw this out there.
:D

The motors that I am looking for range the years from 1948 to 1962. The motors are chevy 235, 261 and GMC 207, 248, 270, 302. The GMC motors were used mainly in grain trucks and the 1 ton and heavier gmc trucks. Thanks for the help so far.
