Guess what's missing from mine?

Anyone have a two extra overhead light covers for a K5?

*Don't really need a front bumper anymore guys, thanks.*

Yeah, LMC has them too. I just prefer to grab them from you guys first. I figure someone here has one sitting around on a shelf or in a parts vehicle and could better use a couple bucks. That said, it's looking like commercial is the way I'll go.

Ever bought from LMC? Any feelings regarding Classic vs LMC?

Never had any issues with either place. Bought a bunch from both. The major difference is shipping costs. Don't remember which was higher. Rockauto is another place that I have used for various stuff. Any are good.

Yeah, big fan of Rock Auto myself. Got some ACDelco Premium gas charged shocks sitting in the garage for it that I got cheaper than NAPA's regular shocks.

I have bought the light covers from the "Help" section at Autozone in the past. They are just a few bucks. Wish you were closer because I have a stock 89 front bumper and I have a front CUCV bumper that I would get rid of.

Ain't that always the way of it...

Thanks. I'll have to check out AutoZone and Advanced now that you mention it. NAPA didn't have anything like that and they're who I usually go to.

if you can't find anything i'll get as pic of the cover that 'should' be in my blazer... i haven't looked at it up there much yet, and i'll snap a pic... you can have it for cost of shipping...

Thanks, I'll keep you in mind. I think it's a pretty universal part for that era.

I forgot to update this. Local guy with like 10 of these trucks is trading me a supposedly pristine bumper, a set of new-in-the-box-genuine-GM bumper brackets, all the hardware, and he's working on finding a set of the bumperettes for me. Works for me.

Even going to check to see if he's got a dome light cover for me.

i've got a dome light cover if you need it still... took a picture and it looks pretty good...

Welp, seems that the Help! part number is no longer active and none of my local stores have any old stock.

Also discovered I need two as the one over the rear left window doesn't have a cover either. Forgot it was back there.

i've still got the one i mentioned, i'll have to see if the ones on the top are there...
i don't get online as often as i used to, but feel free to pm me if you need these still...

I have the LMC ones I purchased a couple years ago, they have been installed without issue. So, if you have to purchase one they can be got from there and they are about identical to the stock stuff. When I got mine both were missing, so I grabbed three and gave one to my buddy for his 79.

I'll keep that in mind if 86-1ton's won't work for me.

LMC has always been in the back of my mind...but I've never bought anything from them because all the little stuff I've needed I've been able to get cheaper from you guys or elsewhere.

Well, since no one had said anything I figured I would let you know my experience with them. I have plenty of other stuff I just refuse to buy from them, but they do have some things that are decent quality. Personally I prefer Classic Parts whenever possible, but that is mostly for the weatherstip quality compared to LMC.

You know, I've heard that. Do they have a catalog like LMC?
