Looking for a stock NP205 shifter and pivot bolt, needs to be the style that has the bend towards the driver side. Thanks!

I have them but need to know which tranny are you running. There are different bends in the shifter between the 350 and 400 tranny.

I have a NOS shifter bolt laying around in the shop somewhere.

And then have you checked out the NOS 205 shifter knobs I've been selling? A new one would look bad ass in your rig.

So the transmission is a NV4500 so im not sure which one would be best... Is there a huge difference in the amount of bend in the shifters? The shifter i have now is almost straight up and I dont want to have to hack up the trans tunnel that much to make it work, not to mention i would probably throw out my shoulder trying to shift it. I have a home made shift knob i'm going to use for now but if it burns the tar out of my hand I may hit you up for one of yours!

I'm not sure which shifter to use with the 4500. May have to ask around to verify that one.

The difference between the 350/465 shifter to the 400 shifter is the latter has a more profound bend in it whereas the former have a straighter shaft. The bends make the difference with the added length of the 400 over the 350. If you installed a shifter that was from a 350 or 465 into a setup with a 400, the shifter will very likely hit the floor pan when you pull it back to 4-high and it will not engage.

I will do somesome research but because I'm building the mount I should be able to get either to work. Would you happen to have any pics of them for referance?

Will snap a few up tomorrow when I'm out in the shop.

I am also doing a NV 4500 with a 205 but with a twin stick. I will look at the shifters. I know I have at least a th350 sitting by the case to try. I will be in touch

Thanks a lot! What kind of mount are your using for your twin stick?

With the adapter/clocking ring to run the NV4500 to the NP205, I believe the transfer case is offset rearward relative to most OEM applications. The side to side offset on all GM NP205 shifters is about the same. The fore and aft hook/bend varies. All NP205 applications for TH400 are further back, hence, a shifter bent further forward to end up properly located in floor hole.

With that in mind, if there is a chance of an OEM shifter to meet your criteria, it would be a 77-84 TH400 or any 85-91. I would have one of those available.

Keep in mind the '91 shifter for the 4L80E is a stand alone as the bends in that one is different than the TH400.
