I'm building a NWF Eco Box so I need a donor 241, needs to be a 32 spline input that was removed from a th400 or 4l80e trans.

I would entertain a deal on just the parts I need from the 241 if someone is willing to get dirty

If you're building the NWF box, you just need the planetary section, right? So the case can come out of either a driver-drop or a passenger-drop truck? should be easy to find a driver-drop box local to you...

yes I need the planetary's and the shift range collar from a 89-98 241 behind a 4l80e (driver drop). I can also use one that was behind a th400 from what I understand.

Not easy to find around here and those I've found are priced to high IMO. If I can find one at a pick n pull I can get it for $150 but I haven't had any luck locating a 4l80e truck.

Oh. That's a $50 item in my area (sometimes less). I'd offer to mail you one, but I think shipping would get out of hand.

if the parts are removed from the case and shipped it wouldn't be that bad.

the outer ring for the planetary can be cut off the housing like this

Alright. I don't have an extra case lying around, but I could be persuaded to track one down and part it out if the price was high enough. What is it worth to ya? I'm still thinking that shipping will take the fun out of the deal, even if I do find something.


I have a nice BW 4470 case that I'm not using right now...

the cost of shipping those parts I'm not worried about, it will be minimal IMO.

I was hoping someone might have a case laying around, no need to go searching for one
