WTB- running small block chevy.

I am looking for a running small block chevy that I can put in my 71 chevy 4x4. It doesnt matter what size, it just needs to be a decent motor, no junk.
It doesnt have to have an intake, carb or a distributor but it needs to have heads on it.
I have to move in 4 weeks and I need something I can drop in and not worry about. Im in far northern california so preferably sacramento area and north. Preferably below $1000 but I might be interested in something more if its a nice motor. Thanks in advance.

I have a goodwrench angine in my 70 chevy, complete, runs smooth, and you can test it before we pull it.
I will be putting a big block in it's place.
