Good luck... If you have a welder and a grinder... you could make one that looks ten times cooler than those...

ill do that, with all these new sites for everything i keep forgeting they are still around. im looking for someing like the top one, some sort of chrome tube.
if i knew how to weld, i would have one already, thats not ment to sound snooty. i have a great idea in my head as to what i would really like.
i wanted to take an old vw beetle rack, with the wood slat floor, and modify it to fit. the design in my head has a laddar that folds up totaly concealed and comes down the passenger side over the rear tire. so i dont have to worry about trying to open my tailgate to put surfboards away when everything is froze.
veterans day i had to have a friend take my board home for me because, while we were in the water everything froze.
i can bolt together almost anything, so any suggestions would be great

I'm not a fan of Jc Whitney, but for a product like this, i think they are you best bet.
